Becoming a Member

We are always looking for people interested in joining our organization.

Who Can Join?

All undergraduate students of Bradley University, in good standing with the University, interested in biology are considered members of B.U.G.S.  Members that have at least 8 sem. hours of biology credit are considered to be full members (voting).  Any individual interested in full membership to this organization, who have not completed 8 sem. hours of biology, are considered associate members (non-voting).

Benefits of Joining

As a member of BUGS, you will be able to participate in all BUGS activities, both social and academic (after paying $10.00 dues).  You will also be able to help the organization make improvements through active participation at regular meetings (no dues required).  We are not only an organization, but a lifeline for all those struggling in the area of biology, and most importantly...we are FRIENDS.

How Can You Join?

After completing a membership application, located with Shelia in the Biology Office at Bradley University (or below), you are considered an official member of B.U.G.S.   Members that have not completed at least 8 hours of biology coursework are considered assosciate members, and have no voting privileges at regular meetings.  Members having completed 8 hours or biology coursework, however, will have all voting privileges at regular meetings.  If members would like to participate in B.U.G.S. activities, they must first pay dues of $10.00 per semester.  If you are interested in biology, you are welcome, and ARE A MEMBER!!
